Abstract
A case of ureteric and colonic obstruction secondary to endometriosis is described. We briefly review its pathogenesis and discuss the urologic and bowel implications, symptoms and signs, diagnosis and treatment. Because it is usually silent, urographic evaluation is advisable in all cases of endometriosis. Treatment is by surgery and adjuvant hormone therapy is given preoperatively or postoperatively for residual disease.
