Abstract
Bonaventura Vallespinosa operated within the framework of the "amateur theatre" which refreshed the Catalan stage mainly from 1957 onwards. He published several translations from the French playwrights Molière and Racine between the late 1950s and 1970. This paper deals with some clues in the translation of Molière's The Imaginary Invalid and Racine's Fedra.
