Abstract

The translation into Catalan of Love and Freindship, one of the works written by Jane Austen allowed the reader to get to know a hidden face of the famous English author. Though there are some who disregard these juvenilia and say they don’t provide anything new to Austen literary work, others claim the naiveté and insolence of them give many clues to the origin of her literary production. Austen wrote Love and Freindship (sic) at 14, and the ideas she presents make us tink over her work and question the image we have now of it.
