BACUS (base de coneixement universitari-university knowledge base): 14 years on terminology applied to translation

Abstract

This paper shows a teaching experience and the terminology data base that has turned out after 14 years. Translation students have a last compulsory course in Terminology and they do a research on a subject they choose. This process is coordinated and all the resulting data is put together into a knowledge base-over 35.000 entries (available on line at http://webs2002.uab.es/departament/BACUS/index_en.htm).
