Abstract
The inclusive cross section and the momentum distributions of pp → pX are studied in the framework of perturbation reggeon calculus. In order to explain the experimental momentum distributions it is necessary to introduce the four-pomeron coupling whose strength governs the pomeron-pomeron cross section. The value determined from the multiplicityy is in agreement with the reported estimations of the pomeron-pomeron cross section. © 1979.
