Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the anti-Semite ideology of the Catalan archaeologist Pelegri Casades i Gramatxes, studying his memoirs and the lectures he gave at the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya between 1905 and 1917. The analysis carried out demonstrates the pretension of Casades to find archaeological arguments to legitimize his hate speech against the Jews.
