Abstract
Formulae for the front speed of spreading viruses, which are valid in appropriate limits, were derived. Logistic dynamics was assumed for the growth processes. The evolution equations of the system were also numerically integrated. Experimental data showed the validity of the time-delayed diffusion-reaction models to explain the wave front speeds.
