Abstract

The construction, evaluation and validation of a low cost, continuous flow potentiometric microanalyzer with high robustness, high throughput sample analysis and low sample and reagent consumption is presented to monitor the potassium ion concentration in wine making processes. Real wine samples have been analyzed with very good results demonstrating the viability to deploy the microsystem to wine industry for the control of potassium during different stages of wine making process.
