Abstract

In translation studies, 'professional aspects' covers a whole range of studies on the profession, only a few of which deal with issues related to occupational integration. In this article, I propose a conceptual map with keywords on occupational integration and to analyse articles and papers on translation studies related to each area of the map. This classification has two objectives: to make it possible to locate and identify sub-areas of research related to occupational integration; and to provide information on papers related to occupational integration in translation studies. The results presented in this article are useful for trainers of future translators and researchers studying access to the profession who are interested in acquiring an overall view of the works published on this subject and identifying what lines of research have not yet been sufficiently explored. © Taylor & Francis.
