Abstract
The second decade of the 21st century saw the emergence of a young feminist activism combining conventional and technological media, social networks and street perfor-mance in China. To understand this movement, the article establishes the genealogy of activism in China and presents the differences between the two generations of activists. Through three emblematic cases of this activism, such as the 2012 Stripping Bodies Against Domestic Violence, the arrest of the Feminist Five in 2015 and the mitu (metoo) movement in China, it delves into the debates, denunciations and strategies of young Chinese activism and is completed with a reflection on its major achievements.
