Abstract
Just two years after the introduction of the Education Project at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), World War II erupted in Europe. The conflict had an impact on the US economy and workforce and led to the Museum's resources being redistributed to respond to the crisis through rescue efforts of artists, patrons, and artworks. Surprisingly, instead of seeing its support reduced, the Project blossomed and expanded during the war period. This chapter focuses on how MoMA identified the fight against fascism with indoctrinating methods in art education.
