Abstract
The study of adsorption phenomenon is one of the most relevant and traditional physical chemistry experiments performed by chemistry undergraduate students in laboratory courses. In this article, we describe an easy, inexpensive, and straightforward way to experimentally determine adsorption isotherms using pieces of filter paper as the adsorbent and an organic dye the as the adsorbate. © 2011 The American Chemical Society and Division of Chemical Education, Inc.
