A new species of physiculus (pisces: Moridae) from the eastern central atlantic

Abstract

Physiculus microbarbata n. sp. differs from other species of the genus in having a barbel less than one fourth diameter of the orbit and closely resembles P. huloti Poll and P. capensis Gilchrist. The species is described from two specimens collected off the coast of Guinea, central Africa. © Crown 1990.
