Abstract

The 6th edition of the Congress Metropolis was held in Barcelona between March 16th and March 19th 1999 and was organised by the Association with the same name. Several topics concerning governing policy of the cities were discussed, stressing four different working areas: airport infrastructures, environmental quality, economic development and cultural tourism.
