Abstract
In 1966, during Franco's regime, Feliu Formosa and Artur Quintana published the anthology A la paret, escrit amb guix («On the wall, written in chalk»), wearing the very explicit subtitle «Antologia alemanya de combat» («Anthology of German combat poetry»), which presented a long list of German writing poets of the Twentieth century with primarily anti-war texts. Thanks to an article by Sigrid Schmidt von der Tweer published in 1991 in the magazine L'Aiguadolç, we know that this anthology was mutilated by the censorship. This article examines the circumstances in which the anthology was published and studies the possible reasons for censorship.
