    Abstract

For the first time, an international conference has been held, dedicated exclusively to Population Geography. It was hosted by the University of Saint Andrews School of Geography and Geosciences. The aim of the organizers is to provide a meeting point for all scholars who study the relation between geographical space and population, also widening the area of research to attract researchers from other fields that are not academic geography or who do not consider themselves geographers.
