Where to grow a child? Spatial inequalities in ECEC and its impact on women’s labour market participation

Project Details

Description

#GROW is a project that develops a mixed-method approach to the problem of ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care) and its territorial distribution in Italy. The project integrates a social policy approach to ECEC services and the gender gap in participation in the labour market with advanced statistical techniques. The two disciplines complement each other, thus leading to a multidisciplinary study aimed at developing policy recommendations for the most efficient and effective expansion of ECEC in the future.
