Project Details
Description
This work lays in a an study and characterization line of Banyoles Lake from a physical point of view. This project focuses on the study of the superficial and bottom boundary layers related to meteorological forcing, and on working up an hydrodinamical model. We will study the wind variability radiation, sensible heat and evaporation, in order to know the characteristic fluxes and their fluctuations. We will specially discuss the mean currents (if present) and the bidimensional macroscopic turbulences. Sporadic phenomenology's are also studied, like intern seiches (oscillations of density interfaces) and upwellings and the relative importance of the events that act in the hydrodynamic variability of Banyoles Lake
