Valoració de l'impacte causat per la introducció del pi "Pinus caribaea" sobre la fauna d'artròpodes a la sabana venezolana

The purpose are: a) To determine the arthropod's fauna composition in the venezuelan savanna. According with the participating specialists in the differents teams, the group to be studied are the following: two Orders of the Arachnida, one Order of Crustacea, two Orders of Myriapoda and nine Orders of Hexapoda (some of them, only studied in part); b) to determine the origen and composition on the Arthropod's faune in the introduced pine forest; c) to define the effect that the introduction of the pine forest causes on the savanna's arthropods fauna; d) to determine the savanna's recovery ability after the felling of pine regarding the arthropod's fauna as well as the vegetation; e) to compare the data obtained (pine forest and savanna's recovery) with that of the natural savanna; and f) analysis and interpretation of data and conclusions.
