The aim of the work consists in the design of a pilot reactor and its assay in the contaminated waters treatment. We will center our attention in the photocatalytic elimination of volatile organic compounds (VOC's). VOC's are generated on a great variety of industrial processes, such as: tinplate manufacture, paper and products for the textil industry, plywood and organic compounds manufacture, asphalt process, fuel combustion... Usually the elimination of VOC's is realized through biological methods, which suffer a lot of defects. From the obtained experience by our group in contaminants photodegradation field, it seems to be that the most effective things to carry out the elimination of those contaminants is the use of catalyst particles suspension.
