The framework for this project and the general activity of the group ios Function Theory in a broad sense. Although classically this term meant function theory in one complex variable, the group has historically cultivated as well several complex variables, potential theory (linear and non-linear), quasiconformal theory, martingale theory and probabilistic methds in Analysis combining methods from Complex Analysis, Harmonic Analysis and Functional Analysis. Through classical connectors between complex analysis and signal anlysis of band limited functions, some time ago we became interested as well in the mathematical foundation aspects of digital processing, both from the Fourier Analysis viewpoint and the Wavelet and Computational Harmonic Analysis viewpoint (&)
