The global purpose of the research activity of the team is the development of theoretical and empirical analysis of public policy in modern economies, with a special focus on the implications of european integration. In particular, the issues to be addressed include dynamic fiscal policy, redistribution, taxation in the European Union, public goods and projects (valuation and evaluation), policy coordination, and, finally, firm behaviour and government. The final goal of this research is to contribute both to the existent body of economic analysis and to offer insights for improving policy design.
