Sistema d'inspecció visual automàtica de circuits integrats

The project intends to fill a gap in the set of help tools to integrated circuits manufacturing and study. Automatization of visual inspection works, specially in the non-referencial inspection, brings a great help to increment the output in integrated circuits production. For this, and from the obtained results during the last three years at the Computer Science Department at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) a modular system has been designed. This system should be able to implement the main works of the inspection process using quick techniques of Computer Vision from the easier forms helping the human operator to the most complicated, like non-referencial inspection (not yet been done by any commercial system).
