Scientific and technical cooperation network in economic and social aspects of rural change and development

The aims of the network are: a) to develop new conceptualisations and measurements through which it will be possible to assess and analyse the varying situation of different types of rural region, both within and between European countries, in the context of internal and global economic restructuring; b) to enhance the training of researchers in the application of inproved research methods; c) to consolidate existing levels of collaboration among network members.
