Puesta en correspondencia de imágenes 3D de tomografía computerizada y resonancia magnética

The main goals of this project are: a) A comparative study of registration and fusion algorithms for digital images; b) To develop a software package including the most efficient algorithms regarding medical and remote sensing applications. We study the 2D and 3D approaches to multimodal 3D medical images (SPECT, CT y MR). We also study the registration and fusion of remote sensing images (SPOT, LANDSAT, SAR) using the properties open by some image transforms such as that based on wavelets. Some experiments on video images will be given in order to tests the efficiency of the algorithms in tracking object in movement.
