Project Details
Description
The focus of the research project presented is centered on sustainability in higher education curriculum. (...) (It) facilitates the understanding of environmental phenomena as well as promotes the social commitment towards sustainable development. Three university research groups participate in the project, two of which have already participated in previous research projects with competitive funding (UAB, UdG), and the third one has collaborated informally (UVEG) (...) The collaboration between the three universities will allow exchange of results and the transfer of the experiences so that a proposal for a disciplinary dialogue that promotes education for sustainable development can be characterized. The aims of the coordinated project are the following: 1. Exchange information about the established criteria within the particular field chosen by each participant university so that disciplinary dialogue can be advanced. 2. Design educational interventions that promote disciplinary dialogue with the field of each participant university. 3. Appy and analyze educational interventions within the participant institutions. 4. Identify through contrast significant characteristics of disciplinary dialogue that have proven to be particularly useful within each educational level.
