The research project will analyze the equal opportunities plans of several autonomous communities in Spain. The measures proposed in these plans will be classifies according to analytic categories. Special attention will be given to policy measures that aim at the conciliation of jobs and housework. Using a model o social indicators, the social situation of women in these autonomous communities will be analyzed. Once the plans are categorized and the social indicators obtained, the project will look if the priorities that are proposed in the plans are adequate to the problems detected by the social indicators or where there are differences. Finally, information will be obtained about how the plans have been developed and implemented.
