Description
The aim of this project is to study the artistic production of Catalan painters in some European cities during the Baroque Age. Our main goal is to catalogue the works of Mesquida in Venice and Germany, and the production of M. Serra in Rome and Marseille. On the other hand we will analyse the opposite phenomenon, namely the presence of some foreign artists in Barcelona, connected to the court of Archduke Charles, and their influence on local painters
