Project Details
Description
The partners of Keep In Touch project have jointly participated in two COPERNICUS Projects that have recently finished. In these projects a complete programming environment for parallel systems has been designed and a first prototype of the environment has been developed and is currently operative. This environment integrates a visual programming component with a graphical editor for parallel programming, a mapping component, a simulation component, a real parallel execution component with monitoring and load balancing support, testing and debugging components and visualisation tools related to program animation, control and performance analysis. The objectives of this KIT project are: a) Continue the development and integration of the parallel programming environment. All partners are currently working on improving their tools (refined models, new options, better human interfaces, etc.). b) Disseminate the results of the recently finished COPERNICUS Projects among the scientific and industrial community.
