In the last decades have been described paraganglionic tumours associated with laryngeal nerves. However are no studies that strongly demonstrate presence of paraganglia in human larynx, its development and distribution. With this investigtion project we will resolve these questions by: 1) study of seriated histological sections of embryos and human foetuses to systematize the development and topographical distribution of ganglionic formations associated with laryngeal nerves and 2) study of these formations using histochemical and inmunocytochemical techniques and electron microscopy to establish its nature (sympathetic, parasympathetic, or paraganglionic)
