    Description

    Study objective: development and setting of the genetic characterization techniques in preimplantation diagnosis. Design: a first developing phase in an animal model (mouse), followed by its application in human preembryos. Setting: it depend on the phase of the study considered. The first phase concerning the development in the mouse model will be carried on mainly in the Unit of Cell Biology of the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The second one that implies the clinical application of the results will be performed using the human preembryos from the "in vitro" fertilization (IVF) program of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona.
