Project Details
Description
Our purpose is to perform the study of metallic and chalcogenide alloys using previous results and focusing on the following aspects: a) theoretical calculations of phase diagrams and Gibbs free energy glass formation; correlation with the experimental glass forming ability; b) morphological and calorimetric study of crystallization kinetics and determination of time-temperature-transformation (T-T-T) curves and temperature-heating rate-transformation (T-HR-T) curves; c) short-range order and glass transition dynamic characterization on glassy alloys; d) structural relaxation analysis by means of calorimetric measurements and determination of the relaxation activation energies spectrum.
