Nuevo significado del trabajo en el subempleo. Implicaciones psicosociales, políticas y de género

Project Details

Description

The actual european and spanish programs of work orientation and insertion are based on premisses of personal and social "centrality" of work, identified by the megareport MOW (1987.1991), and on the traditional "importance" of work for a psychological well-being, social inclusion, and quality of life (Stoetzel, 1983, Warr, 1987). These statements come from a keynesian-fordist sociolaboral logic. The aim of this study is to analize how the deep changes in the world of work, and in the experience and the labour relationships that have been happening the last two decades, because of economic globalization, technologic innovation and organizational reeingeneering, giving place to a post-keynesian and post-fordist world, are affecting to the "meaning of work" and so, to the logics of work orientation and insertion. This study pretends to explore this change of meaning, to quantify its theoretical reach and to value its practical implications on work policy and on gender economy.
