The target is the preparation and evaluation of new catalysts based on transition metals. Especial emphasis will be devoted to their recovery and reutilization 1) Anchoring triolefinic 15-membered macrocycles to solid supports. 2) Introduction in the macrocycles of ancillary chain which afford water solubility and other special properties. 3) Evaluation of structures from 1. and 2. previously loaded with palladium (0), in Heck, Suzuki, Tsuji-Trost reactions and in the butadiene telomerization. 4) Preparation of 20- and 25. membered polyolefinic macrocycles. Evaluation as stabilizers of low-sized (ca. 1nm) metallic nanoparticles (palladium, nickel, ruthenium). 5) Evaluation of iron (III) containing aerogels in conjugate additions, the Biginelli reaction, and oxidative coupling of aromatics. 6) Preparation of complex molecular architectures containing two or more 15-membered macrocycles. 7) Development of new perfluoroalklation methods. 8) Preparation of metallic nanoparticles stabilized by polyfluorinated compounds. 9) Preparation of adamantylglycinol-derived enantiopure ligands and their metallic complexes. Evaluation in cyclopropanation, Diels-Alder, and Llylic oxidation reactions. 10) Anchoring ruthenium-carbene complexes on solid supports. Evaluation in metathesis reactions. 11) Use of ruthenium complexes in nitrogen-nitrogen cleavage reactions
