This project is the continuation of the previous one, about the application of Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) to the processes evolution, such as chemical or biological (...). In the present study, the complete tracing of the different operations about a pharmaceutical productions is proposed: blending control of Active Principle Ingredients (APIs) with excipients, wet granulation, drying in oven or fluent bed, composition of intermediate and final products. These controls will be performed with solid samples extracted from the processes or as in continuous manner, without the need of a sample pretreatment. Also these controls will be extended to chemical processes that are difficult to follow using the usual methods (...). Generally these processes involve liquid samples, which are simplest than solid samples. The application of different calibration algorithms will be analyzed for each case. Some of these algorithms are considered an alternative to the classical ones, because require reduced information from reference methods (MLR, PCR, PLS). The application of NIR Spectoscopy-Chemical Image is also proposed to the study of solids in the pharmaceutical, mortars and sediment fields, among others. This technique offers interesting topics in the study of solid samples, which can raise important results.
