This research focus on work sharing. This core idea divides in three goals. The first one is to study proposals on job sharing. The second one raises the redistribution of "total work charge" (employment and housework) and more generally the distribution of "life times". Finally the third one poses the question of symbolic representations: the aim is to establish the desirability and reluctance refering possible redistributions of "total work charge" and possible distributions of "life times". The originality of the project is to undertake work sharing from the everyday life approach. Research potential utilities are related to the current debate on working time and everyday life. To express in concrete terms, during the research process our aims are to collect and analyse current experiences on job sharing, distribution of total work charbe and life time; to discuss our results with social actors; and to offer proposals for the orientation of work sharing policies.
