L'Articulació de les Ciutats i Regions de l'Arc Mediterrani Espanyol. L'Activitat Ferial, Un Nou Indicador Geo-Econòmic

This proposal attempts to study the activities of commercial fairs as a new geoeconomical indicator allowing for the assessment of the dynamics and interrelationships of cities and regions in the Mediterranean arc of the Iberian peninsula. It is a very innovative research to which very little contributions, have been made. Our objectives are twofold. On the one hand, we want to undertake a deep analysis of our study area in the context of the rest of Spain as well as the Northwestern Mediterranean. This will be performed through exhaustive statistical complemented with the study of other, more miscelaneous information. On the other hand, we plan to keep elaborating the theoretical and methodological aspects building from already existing results.
