This project presents a group of some investigations in relation to the social representation of the deaf pupils, an area of study which has not been frequently explored. Although there are not many knowledge about this theme, we think it is very interesting not only to improve the social participation of the deaf people, but also to facilitate the compression of the messages with implicit social knowledge (narratives, television messages, etc&.) Two areas of the social though are explored, on one hand the interpersonal social relations with hearing and deaf people and the psychic state attributions, and on the other hand, the comprehension of the social world, moral values and norms. The importance of the mass media in the transmission of the social knowledge and the difficulties of the deaf people to understand them is the reason to study the interpretation of these messages on the TV. Finally the main aim of this project is educative and, in consequence, it is also studied the teachers' perceptions of the social though of the deaf pupils. To carry on this study, it will be necessary to adapt instruments and to design new situations that will be controllers with hearing subjects
