La identificació dels conflictes interculturals: la UE i el Magreb a la premsa d'elit

The comtemporary complex society entails a great flood of migration among countries. In the framework of the relations between the EU and four North-African countries (Magreb and Egypt) we would like to point out, having as a basis the European elite press, the way these media reflect the discourse of the different cultures and identities. The research will be focused upon the image provided by the journalistic discourse used on comment and opinion pages. This research aims at establising the relationship between the contests treated in the elite press and how they contribute to create a states of opinion amongst the social sectors involved in those subjects. It will also be analysed their futher generalization in the public opinion as result of the "thematising" action produced by such a discourse.
