Estudis sobre assajos de genotoxicitat en \i Drosophila\i0 i en limfòcits

Project Details

Following the research developed by our group on the study of several genotoxicity assays and their ability to detect different kinds of genetic damages, the present project plans: a) to test the activity of several topoisomerase inhibitors on the expression of sister-chromatid exchanges (SCE) in cultured human lymphocytes; b) to dilucidate the origin, clastogenic or aneugenic, of the micronuclei induced in human lymphocites by several genotoxic agents; c) to determine the origin, mutagenic or recombinagenic, of the mutant clones induced in the "mwh/flr" "Drosophila" test; d) to assay the ability in the induction of mobility of transposable elements in several mutants of the white "locus" by means of chemical treatment.
