Estudi paràsit-ecològic en peixos ciprínids de la Conca del riu Besòs

We intend to study the helminth parasites which have an effect of the Cyprinid fishes of the River Besos Basin in Catalonia. This study will be based on the following parameters: -Study of some physico-chemical characteristics of the rivers: temperature, pH, conductivity, concentration of oxygen, and turbidity of water. -Study of the species of Cyprinid fishes in the areas of sampling -Study and identification of the helminth parasites found in fishes under study -Statistical study of the resulting data for the purpose of connecting the environmental conditions of the rivers under study with the species of parasites found and their hosts -Study of the stational distribution of parasites from each species of Cyprinid fishes -Study of the distribution of the parasites according to size, age, and sex of the hosts
