Estudi immunocitoquímic de neoplàsies dels animals domèstics utilitzant nous marcadors d'histogènesi

    Project Details

    Description

The aim of this research is to know the use of different secretory proteins, cellular differentiation and also structural cell proteins as histogenic markers in neoplasias of domestic animals. We intend to improve the identification of subpopulations of lymphocytes (LCA,CD3) and different types of carcinomas and adenocarcinomas of prostate, pancreas, liver and intestine (EMA, NSE, different kinds of cytokeratins, amilase, prealbumin, carboxypeptidase A, CEA). In all these cases, formalin fixed neoplasias and embedded in parafin will be used. The antigen identification will be performed with the peroxidase antiperoxidase (PAP) and Avidin-Biotin (ABC) techniques, in some cases, after treating the tissue with proteases (Tripsin, pronase). Human neoplasias with known reactivity will be used as positive controls. This last point will allow us to make comparative studies.
