Description
This is the second stage in our research line about "Epidemiology in developmental psychopathology, which first phase was covered in PM91-209 project. It consists in the application of a computerized epidemiological assessment instrument (adapted and validated in the first phase) for the study of risk factors in child and adolescent psychopathology. Through a case-control design study, demographical, medical, scholar, social and communication skill deficits, familiar, history of psychopathology, stressful life-events risk factors will be identify for the following diagnostic categories: mood disorders, anxiety disorders and eating disorders. These evaluations are conducted to obtain objective indicators for development of preventive programs and the planning of community services of child mental health.
