Estudi de les malalties de l'isard i d'altres ungulats silvestres. Metodologia per al control del seu estat sanitari

This project has been proposed to study the prevalence of several diseases that affect the population of wild ungulates in Catalonia. We are going to centrate on three species basically: Chamois, wild goat and mouflon, because those seem to be the more problematic ones. This is the beginning of a wider project, which has the purpose of stablishing the proper methodology for the control of diseases in this species; different from those of domestic ungulates due to their peculiar way of live, and even in single species depending on the distribution area.
