Psychological preparation in the control of anxiety and concentration may be useful for maximizing performance of the elite athletes in competitive settings. From our previous studies, the current research is trying to create a methodological tool suitable for evaluating the effectiveness of the psychological preparation in the control of those aspects in a real athletic competition. The techniques of psychological preparation to be adapted and utilized will be: relaxation, imagery and positive thinking
