Project Details
Description
Objectives: What do you want to achieve by implementing the project?
This project aims to advance gender perspective (GP) competences among healthcare students. The project specific objectives are: to create a GP framework and determine the core competencies in GP for healthcare education; to co-design teaching contents; to train the participating institutions through workshops; to evaluate teaching contents using a new
measurement tool to assess students’ GP competence and sensitivity and to disseminate the project findings to exchange and support GP curricula.
Implementation: What activities are you going to implement?
In the first phase, a gender perspective competencies framework will be developed through focus group and e-Delphi studies to define core competencies in healthcare education. The findings will guide the creation of learning materials, which will be tested and validated in a Learning and Training activity. A tool to assess students' GP competencies will also be
designed, with results disseminated through a communication strategy established during the project.
Results: What project results and other outcomes do you expect your project to have?
The project will produce a Key factors report to introduce GP in healthcare student's curricula, ensuring scientific rigor and consensus on core competencies and based on a thorough needs assessment. Then a, Handbook and Toolkit will designed to integrate GP into healthcare curricula. A measurement tool will assess students' GP competence, refining learning
materials in the iteration phase. The dissemination plan will enhance the project's impact through strategic communication.
