Protein engineering of native and mutant procarboxypeptidase and carboxypeptidase-A/ inhibitor complexes. Analysis of the functional determinants

The project intends to facilitate the training on the combined use of analytical and preparative protein engineering approaches. Also, to experimentally test previous hypothesis on the molecular basis of the inhibition of carboxypeptidases, either by their pro- segments or by natural protein inhibitors.
