    Project Details

The scanty archaeological sequences that we actually know from the Middle Pleistocene present enormous dificulties for their interpretation, due to the fragmented fossil register with documentary evidence. We pose to approach the interpretation of human groups from a reliable chronological framework (absolute dating, geological context, microestratigraphic evolution), as well as a technological and taphonomic approach for the analysis of archaeological contexts. Deepening into the human behaviour during the Middle Pleistocene requires, by the hand of new technologies, to give new guidelines to explain the relations between the "Homo" kind and the environent where they live.
