Els models de llengua i els mitjans àudio-visuals (ràdio i televisió) en català

This project aims at studying the influence of the process of codification and linguistic diversification in the linguistic models used in the oral mass media -radio and television. The research will start with an analysis of the present language situation in these media, followed by a verification of the relation between the linguistic forms used and the proposal of Fabra's codification, the departure point for modern Catalan. The final goal of the study is to define the theoric bases to support a linguistic model coherent with the constraints imposed by the different media and their diatypic varieties, which, in spite of their different characterization, have to be internally coherent, defining non antagonistic criteria for phonetic, lexical and grammatical aspects.
