Disseny de catalitzadors amb lligands funcionalitzats

We will introduce functionalized groups in phosphine and carboxylate ligands. The obtained compounds will be used as coordinating ligands in homogeneous transition metal catalysis. We will synthesise the following ligands: 1) phosphines with ambiphilic groups: their surfactants properties will probably change the catalytic activity in biphasic systems; 2) phosphines with polar groups of different charge (zwitterions): we will obtain asymmetric water-soluble phosphines very selective in catalytic systems with polar substrates; 3) functionalized carboxylates: with surfactants properties, water-soluble or coordinating capacity.
